Summary

• Manufacturing Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in estimating
• Need good written communication, Excel, Word, positive attitude, high degree of initiative, detail oriented, etc. 
• This person will ultimately, put the numbers together to quote the job and then do post mortems on jobs after they are complete to review estimates to actuals and report back
• Required to develop and document labor standards for operations in all departments

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned)

• Engineering or similar technical background (likely 5+ yrs but not required)
• Analyze aerospace blueprints, engineering models, and industry standards to prepare time, cost, material and labor estimates
• Work closely with department leads to collect and verify information required to ensure estimates are accurate
• Familiar with manufacturing processes such as tube bending, CNC machining, welding, assembly and outside processes
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software for model review
• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management systems
• Experience with an MRP system (ShopTech E2 is a plus)
