Cloud Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Location: Brea, CA


We are looking to bring on an exceptional Infrastructure Engineer who has built, managed, and deployed extensively on Amazon Web Services Infrastructure.  We’ve grown our cloud environment substantially over the past 12 months and are looking for a strong Engineer that can help us deploy and manage our infrastructure in the cloud.  Scalability, durability, and interoperability with the existing on-premise datacenters are critical.  We are a hybrid cloud environment and understanding of traditional networking, datacenter concepts, as well as present ideas and take charge on projects are a must.


  • Designing, Testing, Implementing and supporting our global hybrid infrastructure, mainly:
    • AWS Infrastructure technologies (EC2, VPC, ELB, TGW, Route53, S3, Cloudfront, IAM etc.)
    • Microsoft Systems (Microsoft Windows Server OS)
    • Core Datacenter services (DNS, DHCP, PKI, VPN, NTP, SAN, backup and recovery etc.)
  • Manage and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved
  • Provide expert technical direction to his/her team and other IT subgroups
  • Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures on complex projects. Interface with Business Stakeholders on all applicable projects
  • Assist the networking/telecommunication team with projects, tasks and issues
  • Assist in the development of hybrid systems/network standards and policies
  • Hands-on Technical
  • Work with vendors for new projects or support issues
  • Some travel required
  • Mentoring global peers

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications

  • BS Computer Science/Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of general systems / infrastructure experience 
  • 3+ years of AWS infrastructure experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Will accept any suitable, substantially equivalent combination of education, training and experience, e.g., five years of qualifying experience in lieu of a degree

Critical Skills/Technical know-how

  • Strong working knowledge with AWS Infrastructure Services
  • Strong working knowledge for all core services of Microsoft Windows Server
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
