You will be managing several design Engineers and other Engineering support staff to get the job done, every day!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
• Solid working knowledge of PDM, and ERP systems. Experience with Abas ERP highly desired
• Estimating – quick, reasonably accurate, repeatable cost estimation
• Team leadership – guidance and growth for Engineers, resource and capacity planning. Ability to guide and coordinate Engineers and make decisions when necessary
• Technical project management – organization, tenacity, scheduling, attention to detail
• Sales support – Responsive to sales with info, guidance and support presales and immediately after the sale
• Multidisciplinary technical competence – sheet metal, additive mfg, electrical, displays/computers, systems integration
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks, and to assess and prioritize tasks
• Strong record of successful engineering design project execution
• Significant experience designing electrical and electromechanical systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audiences from direct hourly labor to C-Suite level
• Ability to effectively discern business priorities and business/customer needs, translate these into technical requirements, and effectively communicate these requirements to design engineers
