General Functions and Scope

  • The Human Resources Director is responsible for developing and executing the HR strategy in support of overall business objectives and strategic direction
  • This individual will be a member of the Company’s Leadership Team and will collaborate closely with business leaders to deliver on HR initiatives and services
  • This role will be responsible for all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits

Essential Functional Areas of Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the leadership team on key organizational, employee, and management issues
  • Provides direct HR support to all employees
  • Work closely with Executive Management to support strategic business initiatives
  • Continuous assessment of HR Services to ensure the most efficient and practical products are in place; research and implement change when needed
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Full cycle recruitment, onboarding, offboarding
  • Health & Wellness and 401(k) planning and administration
  • Implementation and maintenance of Company’s Compensation Strategy & Philosophy including ongoing management of salary banding, compensation management
  • Manage the Annual Performance Appraisal Process, 360 Feedback, other surveys as needed
  • Assist in the coaching and development of team members
  • Participate in Succession Planning and Employee Development across all levels of the organization
  • Ensure proper handling of employee relations issues, investigations, etc.
  • Manage and process biweekly, multistate payroll
  • Maintain compliant employment records
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations (including but not limited to: Wage & Hour Law, HIPAA, GINA, ERISA, FLSA, ADA)
  • Sponsor and/or manage company event planning
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and Worker’s Compensation regulations
  • Support ISO initiatives when applicable
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5+ years in an HR Leadership role
  • Successful track record of developing and leading the HR function in particular areas around talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, change management and employee engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change
  • Ability to quickly build trust and collaborative working relationships with local and remote business leaders, partners, and employees
  • Strong knowledge of employment-related Federal and State laws and regulations
  • HR Certification desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with payroll software, HRIS, and other HR-related programs
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
