Application Support Analyst

Location : Fontana, CA

POSITION PURPOSE

The responsibility of the Application Support Analyst is to keep the technologies that the Company relies on to do business, up-to-date and running smoothly. Application Support Analyst provides technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users both on site and remote who need assistance with the applications, software, and hardware.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot applications used by the business in the office and production floor, previous application support required
• Set up new devices, users and technologies as needed
• Monitoring applications/system for any irregularities; and troubleshoot as needed
• Provide End User support for end for hardware and applications as required
• Maintaining and updating technical and instruction manuals, policies, and procedures
• Monitoring applications/system for any irregularities that we will need to troubleshoot
• Managing support issues by tracking them in ticketing system
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma and Technology Training, certification or Experience in an IT related field or position
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), 3.5 is desired
• Strong technology, analytical and communication skills
• Patience, resourcefulness, and a desire to help others
• Demonstrated experience building relationships in team environment
• Ability to communicate and teach non-technical individuals how to use the Technology

• Minimum of 2 years experience with supporting Microsoft .NET applications is required
• Experience with supporting Microsoft Power BI & SQL preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Understanding of networks, databases, and other technology a plus
• Detail oriented, analytical, multi-tasker, and inquisitive
• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills

• Frequent lifting or pushing up to 20 lbs. Dexterous with both hands
• Office setting located in a Manufacturing metal fabrication facility
