Seeking to hire an entry-level Electrical Engineer to help us keep growing. The primary focus is to aid the engineering team with electrical C system design needs. Software command and control of electromechanical systems is involved, and experience in this area is a benefit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical calculations as needed for the design before completing technical drawings
- Sketch and draw up cable/harness designs using input from engineers on the team and/or customers
- Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal for the electrical system based on the system requirements
- Create designs in line with company procedures, regulations, and customer needs
- Submit drawings to upper management and assembly teams
- Provide support during the assembly and test process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications
- Finalize designs and send prints to the production department
Qualifications
- Completion of a degree in engineering
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- IT and CAD knowledge (Preferably SolidWorks experience)
- Strong computer and mathematical skills
- Experience designing industry-specific products
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
- Able to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
