POSITION PURPOSE

The responsibility of the MS Dynamics Business Analyst is to guide the company in improving processes, products, services and software through data analysis. Straddling the line between IT, Finance and the business, this role will use data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. Engaging with business leaders and users to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value. Always balancing those ideas against what’s technologically feasible, and both financially and functionally reasonable. At various times this position may work to improve products, hardware, tools, software, services, process, and reporting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs
  • Participate in creating and maintaining Company’s Application Roadmap
  • Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, cost benefits, and solutions for a business
  • Define scope and objectives and help formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
  • Define business requirements and report them back to stakeholders
  • Identify inefficiencies and waste in business processes and proposes improvements to management
  • Understand and help document the various applications at the Company and the flow of information between them
  • Construct process workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
  • Primary responsible for coordinating work with the MS Dynamics Integrator to support our MS Dynamics Application (Finance F&O, Logistics, CRM light)
  • Develop with the business, maintain and track key performance indicators & dashboards, business intelligence and key reports
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, financial and cost analysis
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 year degree in a business, finance or IT related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), 3.5 is desired
  • 3-5+ years related experience working with MS Dynamics F&O
  • Strong technology, analytical and communication skills
  • Comfortable participating in Big Picture (strategic) planning as well as, detailed analysis and planning
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior decision makers
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships in team environment
  • Strong Facilitation Skills
  • Strong Change Management & Process Improvement Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS O365 and Teams a Plus
  • Business analytics tools MS Power BI or similar software
  • SQL SSRS experience a plus
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements
