Position Summary
Seeking someone with a technical background who has the desire and capability to take-on, own, and execute application projects in the Midstream and Downstream Natural Gas Pipeline industries. The job will require some travel, meeting with customers, and understanding their businesses, applications, and products. In this position you will execute projects from inception through the specification, system design, fabrication, validation and operation, while providing positive contribution to the core engineering team from a project perspective.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Definition of projects scope, deliverables and specifications
- Coordination with internal teams, including business development, engineering, production, manufacturing, test and commissioning
- Communication with customers / stakeholders and management of customer expectations
- Schedule and budgeting for the project and its execution
- Technical ownership, oversight and review of the project throughout the life cycle, both internally and externally
- Design contribution to the core engineering team in areas of expertise
- Planning, project technical and schedule risk identification, mitigation plans as well as development and execution of alternate paths
- Project reporting both internal and external
Skills, Experience, Education, and Abilities
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Electrical) with 5-10 years experience
- Experience with rotating machinery and/or variable frequency drives strongly preferred
- System integration experience, specifically with electro-mechanical systems, strongly preferred
- Some project management or coordination experience
- Solidworks experience a plus
- Six Sigma Black Belt and / or Root Cause Investigation experience is a benefit
- Strong written and oral communication skills are a must
