Summary
The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of engineers and coordinating with various departments within the company to ensure project success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure project success
- Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as necessary
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management, on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with project management processes, tools, and standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required for this position:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders at all levels across the organization
- Familiarity with project management tools
- Experience in sheet metal manufacturing helpful
Language Skills
- Speak, read, and write fluently in English
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents
- Able to communicate persuasively, and clearly communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audiences across all levels within the organization
- Able to effectively discern business priorities and business/customer needs, translate these into technical requirements and effectively communicate these requirements to others
Mathematical Skills
- Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
- Able to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis
Reasoning Ability
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Able to discern key drivers and priorities of development projects
Computer Skills
- Strong to expert-level knowledge is required in the following:
