Salary : $125,000 — $150,000

Bonus : $250k-$350k

Position Overview
The Sales Account Executive will drive revenue growth in the federal civilian sector by managing new and existing accounts. This individual contributor role focuses on high-level client engagement, revenue generation, and building long-term relationships with federal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in VAR sales, federal contracting, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution

  • Manage the full sales cycle for federal civilian accounts, from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Drive new business opportunities and expand relationships within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to deliver integrated solutions.

Proposal Development

  • Work with engineering, solution architects, and marketing to develop client-focused proposals.
  • Ensure proposals clearly communicate the value and differentiation of our Company’s solutions.

Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to federal agency stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Manage sales pipeline using CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce).
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline status, forecast, and opportunities to leadership.

Collaboration & Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed on federal procurement policies, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.

Key Qualifications

Experience

  • 3–7 years of sales experience in federal civilian markets or technology VAR sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and IT infrastructure solutions, federal procurement processes, and VAR partnerships.

Skills

  • Strong relationship-building and client management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex federal procurement cycles.
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation Package

  • Bonus / Commission: Performance-based commissions on new and renewal sales orders, typically around 4% of commissionable margin
  • Pay Schedule: Commissions are paid quarterly, tied to achievement of annual target margin
