Responsibilities

• Performing advanced quality audits and assessments of procedures and data
• Performing internal and vendor audits, quality reviews and gap analyses ensuring compliance
• Creating quality assurance/regulatory affairs standard operating procedures
• Uphold management’s directives and compliance to customer contracts or documented precepts
• To ensure the company’s quality policy is successfully implemented
• Work with internal Company departments on root cause analysis and corrective action measures
• Responsibility to meet customer requirements and to continually improve the quality in keeping with the company’s policy of meeting or exceeding customer’s demands and expectations
• Upholding high quality standards and continued training will be an integral part of the company’s strategy
• Maintains rigorous quality mindset and advocates strict adherence to compliance practices within the facility
• Well-versed in ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems Requirements (certification preferred)

What You Need for this Position

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, etc.) or a related technical field or equivalent education / experience
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment certified to ISO 9001 or similar standard
• 5+ Years of Quality Professional experience
• Requires a thorough knowledge of QA procedures and policies
• ISO 9001 certified preferred
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer desirable
• Detail oriented with the ability to write concise and accurate audit reports
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, analytical skills
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to multi-task
