Summary/Objective
The Principal IT Engineer, ERP is responsible for all aspects of Dynamics 365 F&O (platform) within our organization, which includes the implementation, adoption, day-to-day operation, and optimization of the platform.

- Partner with business stakeholders to develop a vision and roadmap for platform to transform the business
- Through interpersonal and presentation skills, effectively demonstrate the capabilities of platform
- Manage and document business and system processes making use of Microsoft cloud-based tools including Lifecycle Services and Azure Dev Ops
- Collaborate with business units to gather in depth understanding of corporate functions and operations business needs to define the configuration, customization and management of platform
- Elicit and link functional and technical requirements to deliver an end-to-end solution (this will likely be 60% of the role)
- Provide the application users with training and support to enable them to use tools for maximum effect
- Define and communicate project milestones, service level agreements, and resource allocation
- Benchmark, analyze, and make recommendations for the improvement of platform through configuration or ISV solutions
- Oversee negotiation and administration of vendor, partner, and service agreements
- Manage strategic relationships between internal IT resources, business units, end users, vendors, and partner organizations
- Responsible for leading effective organizational change management
- Participate in testing, quality management reviews and training to ensure requirements are fulfilled
- Designing, building, testing and deploying the functional components required for successful solutions, including reports and dashboards
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This role is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. The employee must also, if instructed, have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.
Travel
Occasional overnight travel by land and/or air may be required to attend seminars or conferences or client meetings.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Computer Science
- Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience with ERP systems
- Must be technically strong with Production, Finance, and Trade and Logistics
- Experience managing/supervising personnel and leading teams
- Strong project management experience
- Minimum of two Microsoft D365 F&O certifications
- Trade and logistics, Production, and Finance preferred
- Prior experience working in heavily regulated (SOX, FDA, EMA, etc.) manufacturing or life sciences industries
