The operation is currently running a 1st and 2nd shift with plans to implement a 3rd shift. The expected schedule for this salaried position is a 7AM start, with a goal to maintain a work/life balance.
Responsibilities
Working hands on within the QA department
Perform training as well as evaluations for 4 direct reports
Lead customer and government audits
Lead process improvement efforts in addition to developing metrics
Support inspector and technicians with first article, in process, and final inspections using CMM machines, vision systems, and other basic inspection tools as needed
Qualifications
Deep understanding of AS9100 and/or ISO13485 required
Experience leading both internal and external audits
Previous management/supervisory experience within the quality department
Must be responsive, detail oriented, and attentive, ready to take control of the department
CMM programming with PC-DMIS a plus!
