Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
- Solid working knowledge of PDM, and ERP systems. Experience with Abas ERP highly desired
- Estimating – quick, reasonably accurate, repeatable cost estimation
- Team leadership – guidance and growth for Engineers, resource and capacity planning. Ability to guide and coordinate Engineers and make decisions when necessary
- Technical project management – organization, tenacity, scheduling, attention to detail
- Sales support – Responsive to sales with info, guidance and support presales and immediately after the sale
- Multidisciplinary technical competence – sheet metal, additive manufacturing, electrical, displays/computers, systems integration
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks, and to assess and prioritize tasks
- Strong record of successful engineering design project execution
- Significant experience designing electrical and electromechanical systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audiences from direct hourly labor to C-Suite level
- Ability to effectively discern business priorities and business/customer needs, translate these into technical requirements, and effectively communicate these requirements to design engineers
