  • Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations
  • Maintain Internet connectivity for all sites to include router/switch configuration and maintenance
  • Responsible for maintaining the company Wide Area Network/Local Area Network.
  • Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups
  • Protecting data, software, and hardware by planning and implementing network security measures
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems
  • Replacing network hardware components when required
  • Maintain and monitor virus protection software and email applications
  • Maintains network storage
  • Annual security awareness training


  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology related field of study with a network focus
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, network hardware and IT best practices
  • Knowledge of current internal and external networking protocols and equipment, data communication encryption techniques and methodologies, operating systems, network design and security, and monitoring/management tools as well as firewalls, switches, routers and other network devices
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows Server and desktop products, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, Cisco switches/firewalls/routers, Fortigate firewalls, cloud technology (AWS and/or Azure), and Linux
  • Strong understanding of security, intrusion detection and prevention, contingency planning and disaster recovery strategies
  • Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, and controllers
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
  • Ability to keep up to date on new technology and products


  • Experience with current cloud computing technologies (i.e. AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
  • 5-10 years or more experience in a hands-on infrastructure, networking  role
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary
